Type of lenses

Total protection against UVA and UVB, Bleu and Infra Red Spectrum light
Polarised lenses; : attenuate glare from reflective surfaces such as snow and water but also car windscreens.
They enhance contrasts and visual perception in conditions of hight luminosity
Using of injection technique : the two materials are bonded by melting at high temperature.
This technique avoids the problems of delamination due to the glue compared to most competitors who use the technique of collage.
Photochromic : darkening, depending on the level of light intensity.
Treatments
Anti-glare 3 layers : reduces visual fatigue and eliminates glare.
Flash silver : reinforces visible light filtration with a mirror effect.
Easyclean : grease repellent, water-repellent, and dirt resistant treatment.
Colours
Brown lenses :
Improve contrasts. Better protection against blue spectrum light..
Grey lenses :
Provide protection for the eyes without modifying natural colours.
Orange lenses:
Improve contrasts in conditions of low luminosity.

Materials
RUBBER
Developed by the Salomon Eyewear R&D department, this supple and light elastomer is used for creating the inner face of the stems and nose supports. Anti-allergenic and resistant to ageing, it gives the glasses a high level of stability, and helps to prevent them from slipping off with transpiration. Pleasant to the touch and with enhanced comfort to wear.
GRILAMID®
This is a thermoplastic used in many high-tech applications - aeronautics, sport and automobile. This very light and elastic material is used for the faces and stems of the Salomon Eyewear products. Its excellent properties of resilience, resistance to ageing and elastic memory, even at very low temperatures, make it an ideal material for glasses for sports wear or for an active lifestyle.
HYTREL®
A high performance material with a memory for shape, which offers excellent flexibility and very good resistance at low temperatures.
